Before you start

Things you need to know:

You should be familiar with our Enable a program webhook article.
You must have an account with Lob.
You must contact your Customer Success representative so they can enable the Lob webhook in your account.

Create a Lob profile

Go to Connect > Webhooks.
Select NEW WEBHOOK.
Enter a Webhook name and, for Platform, select Choose from existing, then expand the drop-down menu and select Lob.
The Base URL is then populated for you.
Optionally, select the Limit request rate switch.
Some providers won't allow too many requests to be sent at once by the same profile.
Expand the Authentication section and add your authentication details.
Select NEXT.
Set your data fields.

Select SAVE.

You can use the Lob webhook node inside the program builder:

Go to Automation > Programs, and create a new program, or edit an existing one.
Learn more in the Program builder section of the Help Centre.
From the Webhooks section of the left side panel, drag the Lob webhook node onto the canvas.
Select the node to open the configuration side panel.
Configure your postcard settings.
Select APPLY.
Once happy with your configuration, you should test the extension to ensure it works as expected. Select Find contact, choose a contact from your Test list, and then select Submit to make a test request. The full response is provided underneath, allowing you to see whether the extension is working or not.
After testing, select APPLY to save your changes.

Make sure you're supplying accurate data in your requests, otherwise your webhook won’t work.
We can’t guarantee the success of your webhook requests, or verify whether your data is executable, before you use the Lob node.
Make sure you’re complying with the data requirements of the webhook provider.
