Following the latest developments in how contacts in Dotdigital are understood, and how data can be used, we’ve given the platform a fresh new look to more accurately reflect how your data and content, and our platform tools, are grouped and organised.

We’re confident that these changes can streamline your processes and make working in Dotdigital quicker and easier, but we also know that big changes can take time to get used to.

So, we’ve put together this quick reference guide to help you locate the platform areas you’re used to in our new navigation.

Tip 🔎

To find what you’re looking for in the tables below more quickly, you can use CTRL + F on Windows, or CMD + F on a Mac, to bring up the search field.

The user menu

We mention the User menu in a number of the instructions for the new navigation. This refers to the menu icon in the bottom left which displays your profile picture, or your initials if you haven't set a profile picture.

You can use the double arrow icon to expand or minimise the navigation panel.

Switching accounts

To switch between accounts you have access to, select the User menu.

  • If you're the account owner of a top-level (parent) account:

    1. Go to Settings > Users and teams > Accounts.

    2. Select the Login icon for the account you want to access.

    3. To return to the parent account, expand the User menu and select Back to my account.

  • If you're a managed user with access to multiple accounts, select Switch account, then expand the drop-down menu in the popover and select the account you want to log in to.
