Scheduled maintenance and upgrade for the surveys and forms tool on 14th January 2014 includes the following upgrades and changes:
Add links within your survey
Have you ever wanted to be able to add a link within your survey or form? Did you find it frustrating that you couldn't? Well, all's changed! The editor now allows external hyperlinks to be added to text (paragraphs, questions, etc.), by clicking the new Link icon on the toolbar.
This will open up the Add a link window, in which you add the text that will display as your link in your survey, then add the actual URL underneath. (You can also highlight existing text in your survey and then click Link, whereby the text highlighted will already be in the 'Text' box.
Once you're happy, click Insert to place the link in your survey.
Other changes
We've also upgraded and tweaked several other features:
- The root of the respondent app now won't show up in search engine results
- Pressing return to add a line break in the editor when using IE8 was erroring (preventing the line break from being added). It now works.
