Upgrade 30th September 2015 - Change to dotmailer URLs

dotmailer's scheduled maintenance and upgrade for 30th September 2015 includes:

  • A change to dotmailer URLs as part of our drive towards an overall more global and scalable solution.

    You'll notice my.dotmailer.com has now been replaced with r1-app.dotmailer.com. A redirect happens automatically upon login and my.dotmailer.com continues to work if you type it into your browser. So, you can log in as you always have, and any of your existing bookmarks will continue to work. You'll just see r1-app.dotmailer.com in their browser rather than my.dotmailer.com.

    Other URLs - such as those used for images and campaign RSS feeds - now also have 'r1' added to them. Similarly, default from addresses have changed, so you@dotmailer-email.com becomes you@r1.dotmailer-email.com.

    Custom from addresses (aka custom domains) aren't affected though. Neither is the API, at this stage.

    As mentioned, this change is part of our continuing work to ensure dotmailer smoothly supports all of our customers growing needs and requirements.

  • Plus over 20 bugs have been fixed, including optimisation of the surveys and forms tool preview process, improved reliability of surveys and forms pop-overs, plus an issue affecting the function to hide blocks on mobile devices in EasyEditor has been resolved.

    I have a client experiencing very long delays in page loads since this update. Is there any info they can provide their IT department to allow this newly formatted url? She documented trying to load a preview of a sent campaign and it was over 5 minutes and the preview still had not loaded.
