A page is a standalone webpage separate from your main brand website, focused on conversion.
Pages will typically contain a data capture form that will gather, at the very least, the email addresses of visitors (so you can follow up with them later).
They can be used, for example, to drive visitors to register in return for a discount, gather contact information as part of entering a competition, or to capture email addresses in return for future news and offers.
You can create and publish great looking pages with our easy-to-use EasyEditor. What's more, you don't need any HTML skills.
If you're already familiar with EasyEditor, then you'll be very familiar with the creation process and most of the editing tools and features available to you.
You can link to pages from your email campaigns, main website, social media, search engine marketing campaigns or advertising banners as an extension to promote a service, product or feature in more detail.
By using them in tandem with a survey or a form, you can easily convert your page visitors into contacts, signups, leads or sales.
With our page builder, you can:
- pick from a number of pre-designed templates, suiting a range of requirements, or upload your own
- drag and drop building blocks into the editor, including uploading and inserting images (just as you can with EasyEditor)
- add videos from YouTube or Vimeo
- insert surveys and forms
- link to other pages, or to documents
- add personalisation, including advanced personalisation (making use of your Insight data)
- directly edit the HTML for the page if you wish
- preview the page
- add Web Behavior Tracking, Google Analytics, Google PPC or any other tracking code to your page
- publish pages by selecting a hosting domain (either from a default or a custom domain)
- add a custom slug to make page URLs user- and SEO-friendly
- Unpublish, edit and republish pages easily if you need to make changes
- access reporting on your pages
To access pages, select Pages and forms from the main application menu at the side.
This will take you to the main pages overview, where your pages will get listed.
To create a new page, either click on the New page or form button to the top left of the page (as shown above).
When selecting New page or form, you're presented with a choice of free templates.
There is a completely blank 'Start from scratch' template, or, if you want more help than that, then you can choose from one of our handily pre-designed styles - 'Whitepaper', 'Competition', 'More info', 'Webinar', 'Register interest', 'Featured product', 'Refer a friend' and 'Upcoming collection'.
Alternatively, you can upload your own template to use.
To preview a template, mouse over it and click on Preview. This will open it in another browser window in the default desktop view. You also have the options to view it in tablet and mobile mode, both as landscape and portrait.
To select a template, mouse over it and click Select. You'll then be asked to give your page a name, as well as choose a folder location for it.
When happy, click Continue. This will take you through to editing your page in EasyEditor, so you can begin work on it.
You can easily upload a template by going to My templates and clicking on the Upload template button.
Can't see the 'Upload template' button?
The ability to upload a template needs enablement for an account. If you'd like this enabled, please contact us.
Furthermore, if you're a user of an account, you'll require the necessary user permission to upload templates. If you'd like this permission enabled, please speak to your account owner.
Drag in or select files and relevant images to upload. Files can be uploaded individually, in multiples, or as a zip file.
Only files with the following extensions are supported: .html, .htm, .png, .gif, .jpg, .jpeg, .css and .zip. If you attempt to upload file types that aren't supported, you'll be notified that they've been removed from your upload.
Images need to be saved locally in the same folder as your HTML file (so don't use an 'images' folder) - this allows the system to reference them correctly upon upload.
File sizes of up to 15MB are supported (or 50MB for zip files).
Once you've clicked Upload, your template will then appear under the My templates tab, available to select for editing.
You can manage your templates within the 'My templates' page.
To preview a template, mouse over it and then click Preview.
To edit a template, mouse over it and then click Select to open it in EasyEditor.
Delete a template by mousing over it and ticking the checkbox that appears, followed by clicking Delete.
You can also create and organise your templates into folders.
Click on More actions to move your templates into other folders or rename them.
Clicking on Display allows you to switch the folders function off if you don't require it.
