06 June 2018 - Introducing new login authentication, plus use existing segments in program builder

dotmailer's scheduled maintenance and upgrade for 6 June 2018 includes the following changes:

New login authentication process

Instead of using your IP address to verify your account login, we now use cookies to store information about your device and your browser (cookies expire after 30 days and reset each time you log in).

You'll receive a verification request only if you log in from a different device or a different browser, or if you haven't logged in at any time in 30 days.

Read more about the new login authentication process in our blog.

Using existing segments in the program builder

Instead of creating a new segment, you can now select one of your existing segments to configure a start node, a decision node, or an exit condition.

dotmailer for Magento v6.4.3 release

You can now get the latest version of dotmailer for Magento, which includes:

  • After installation, we now auto-generate a unique secret key that is used to access external dynamic content and trial signup callbacks

Other enhancements

  • Users who have the reporting permission enabled can now view channel usage stats (accessed via clicking on a channel in 'Channel management' and then clicking on the number of contacts synced in the last 7 days)
  • We've made over 30 bug fixes and performance improvements
