Chat for Magento: Add a contact

Learn how to add a contact to your account.

Overview

Add a contact to your account to save the contact details of your customers.

Before you start

Things you need to know:

• This article is for Chat for Magento, which is no longer available to new users. If you're a Chat user. If you're a Chat user, check out the articles in Email contacts and Email address books.

Add a contact

To add a contact to your account:

1. Go to Contacts.
2. Select the address book you want to add the contact to.
   

   If you're not sure, select all contacts.

3. Expand the +New contact drop-down menu, then select Add contact.
4. On Enter contact details, for Email address, enter your contact's email address.
5. For Mobile number, expand the flag drop-down menu and choose the country code for the mobile number. Then enter your contact's mobile number in the box.
   

   If you don't know both the email address and mobile number, you can enter just one.

6. Select Continue.
