Bynder is a cloud-based digital asset management platform that helps marketing and creative teams manage, organize, and distribute digital assets such as images, videos, and documents. By integrating Bynder with Dotdigital, you can sync your brand assets and use them in your campaigns.
Before you start
Things you need to know:
You must have a Bynder account with the necessary permissions to connect third-party integrations.
You need your Bynder profile URL.
Images must be public and under 10MB to sync successfully.
1. Find the integration
Go to Connect > Integrations.
In the left menu, under SHOW, select Self-serve.
Find Bynder, then select +ADD.
Select INSTALL.
2. Connect Bynder to Dotdigital
Select Connect Bynder to connect it to Dotdigital.
When prompted, enter the URL for your Bynder profile.
Sign in to Bynder to allow Dotdigital access to your account.
Select Next.
3. Choose an image file type
Under Image file type, choose the file type of the images you want to sync with Dotdigital.
Expand the Sync file type drop-down menu, then choose your image file type. Options:
PNG
JPEG
GIF
VECTOR
Select Next.
4. Choose image size
Under Image file size, choose the file size of the images you want to sync with Dotdigital.
Expand the Sync file size drop-down menu, then choose the file size. Options:
Original
Small
Medium
Large
Select Next.
The maximum file size is 10MB.
5. Choose images to sync
Select a metaproperty and its value to configure which assets sync.
Expand the Metaproperty drop-down menu, then choose an existing metaproperty or select Default sync (dotdigital_sync) to create a new metaproperty. Assets marked yes sync automatically.
Select FINISH to complete the integration.
If you choose Default sync (dotdigital_sync), a new metaproperty is created in your Bynder account.
6. Sync images from Bynder
To sync individual images with Dotdigital:
In your Bynder account, select the file you want to sync.
Select the Edit tab.
Under Dotdigital Sync, select Yes.
Select Save.
The asset now syncs automatically to Dotdigital and is available to use in your campaigns.
If you’re using your own metaproperty, find the asset, and then tag it with the value you configured.
