Connect your Judge.me account with Dotdigital to add verified product and service reviews to the Reviews collection, giving you deeper customer insight and enabling more targeted marketing. Once integrated, you can create automated programs that enrol contacts after they leave a review, enhancing your engagement and personalising your communications.
Before you start
Things you need to know:
The integration does not create contacts. If a customer leaves a review but doesn’t already exist as a contact in your Dotdigital account, no data sync or program enrolment takes place.
All reviews sync to Dotdigital, but only verified and published reviews trigger program enrolments. Reviews are tagged to show whether they are verified.
You can use Shopify Flows to send review invites with Judge.me.
You need to have the Judge.me Awesome plan.
Install Judge.me for Dotdigital
1. Connect your Judge.me account
In Dotdigital, go to Connect > Integrations.
In the left menu, under SHOW, select Self-serve.
Find Judge.me, then select +ADD.
Select INSTALL.
Review the integration details, then select NEXT.
2. Authenticate with Judge.me
In Judge.me authentication, select New authentication.
Enter your authentication name and select CREATE.
A pop-up window appears. Log in to your Judge.me account using your Shopify credentials.
Enter your Shopify store name and select NEXT.
This is the domain registered with your Judge.me account, for example, https://yourstore.myshopify.com.
3. Configure the integration
Expand the Program drop-down menu and choose a program to enrol new reviewers.
If you do not want to enrol reviewers in an automated journey, or if you have not created a program yet, select No program selected (default).
Review data still syncs as long as the rest of the setup is completed.
Select FINISH.
You can return to this page at any time to map a program by going to Connect > Judge.me > Settings.

The integration syncs two sets of insight data, product reviews and store reviews.
We store the following information for each product and store review insight record:
