Add Judge.me reviews to campaigns, pages, and forms

Showcase real customer feedback in your Dotdigital campaigns, pages, and forms by adding Judge.me product reviews using EasyEditor App blocks.

Judge.me App blocks let you display published, verified Shopify product reviews, helping you build trust, reduce hesitation, and improve conversion.


Before you start

Things you need to know:

  • You must have the Judge.me Reviews integration connected in Dotdigital.
    Learn more in Integrate Judge.me with Dotdigital.

  • Judge.me App blocks are supported for Shopify stores only.

  • You must have the Awesome plan in Judge.me.

  • Only verified and published Judge.me product reviews can be shown in App blocks.

  • You must enable EasyEditor App blocks extensions.

  • You can add Judge.me review blocks to:

    • Email campaigns

    • Landing pages

    • Forms and surveys

  • You can add Judge.me App blocks to the base canvas and inside column blocks.

    They cannot be placed inside dynamic content blocks.


Judge.me App block types

Dotdigital supports the following Judge.me App blocks:

  • Recent product reviews by ID - requires a product ID.

  • Recent product reviews by product name - requires a product name.

  • Recent 5‑star product reviews - no additional data required.

  • Recent 5‑star service reviews - no additional data required.


Add Judge.me review blocks in EasyEditor

  1. Open your email campaign, landing page, or form in EasyEditor.

  2. In the left panel, go to Build > Judge.me Reviews.

  3. Drag a Judge.me Reviews App block onto the canvas.

  4. Select the block to open the settings panel.

  5. Choose the App block type you want to use.

  6. Enter any required information, such as:

    • Product ID

    • Product URL or handle

    • Number of reviews

  7. Select APPLY.

  8. (Optional) Select PREVIEW to see how the block renders using real Judge.me review data.

If the block shows no reviews, check that the product has published, verified reviews in Judge.me.


Edit App block styles

To style the review content:

  1. Select the Judge.me block on the canvas.

  2. In the side panel, select STYLE CONTENT.

  3. Adjust the available style options, which may include:

    • Text size and fonts

    • Star colour

    • Background colour

    • Borders and spacing

    • Alignment

    • Number of reviews displayed


Star colour customisation

Use the colour picker to:

  • Match your brand colours

  • Highlight 5‑star ratings

  • Blend review elements with your campaign or page design.


Block details

Depending on the block type, you can configure:

  • Minimum star rating

  • Maximum number of reviews to display

  • Show or hide review title

  • Show or hide review content

  • Display reviewer name

  • Display review date

  • Show product name

  • Sort order


Troubleshooting

No reviews appear in the block

Check that:

  • The product has published, verified Judge.me reviews.

  • The correct Product ID, handle, or URL is used.

  • The Judge.me integration is installed and syncing correctly.

App blocks not visible in EasyEditor

Ensure that:

  • The App blocks extension is enabled.

  • The Judge.me integration is installed.

  • Support has re‑enabled the extension if required after installation.

Style options aren’t applying

Confirm:

  • The Judge.me block is selected on the canvas.

  • You are editing STYLE CONTENT, not STYLE BLOCK.

  • Campaign‑level styles are not overriding block settings.
