The steps documented here only apply for older connections which do not use the Dotdigital Tag.

You must install the Dotdigital for Shopware 6 extension before you can add web behavior tracking to your Shopware 6 account.

You must have a Shopware 6 store connected to your Dotdigital account.
Adding Web behavior tracking will automatically enable Abandoned browse.

1. Create your web behavior tracking profile
In Dotdigital, expand the User menu and go to Settings > Access > Web behavior profiles.
Select NEW PROFILE.
For Name, enter a name for your profile.
This can be anything you want, but make it recognisable.
For Website domains, enter each domain you want to add the tracking script to.
Max: 15 unique domains. Omit the
https://www– for example,example.com.Select CREATE.
On Web behavior tracking profile, switch on Track abandoned carts.
If you want to enable guest carts, switch on Enable guest carts.
Copy your Unique ID.
You need this in Step 2.3.
Select SAVE.
2. Set up Web behavior tracking in Shopware 6
In Shopware 6, go to Extensions > My extensions.
Find the Dotdigital for Shopware app, then expand the settings drop-down menu and select Configuration.
For Web behavior tracking profile ID, enter your Unique ID.
This is the Unique ID you copied in Step 1.8.
Select Save.
