Using the Engagement Cloud Custom Connector for the Microsoft Power Platform

Learn how to start using our custom connector for Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure Logic Apps.

Overview

With Engagement Cloud Custom Connector for the Microsoft Power Platform, you can create Power Automate flows, Power Apps, and Azure Logic Apps, along with hundreds of Microsoft connectors:

The connector also works with other third-party connectors:

Limitations

This connector uses our API, so make sure you know your account API limits. API v2, which is the one used in this connector, has a limit of 2000 API calls for each account, every hour, and some actions require more than one API call. This connector shouldn't be used for major actions, but for one-to-one duties.

Dynamics 365

With the Engagement Cloud Custom Connector for Microsoft Power Platform, you can pick from hundreds of connectors to automate manual tasks without doing repetitive manual workloads or data entry. Another benefit is that actions happen in real time when triggered. For example, you can create a Power Automate flow that enrols a contact in an automated program in Engagement Cloud (action), as soon as it’s created in Dynamics 365 (trigger).

GoToWebinar

You can also automatically add GoToWebinar registrants to Engagement Cloud. Instead of exporting data from GoToWebinar and importing it manually into Engagement Cloud, you can streamline the process by using a Power Automate flow. This creates a contact in Engagement Cloud (action) and sends a transactional email (action) as soon as the contact registers (trigger) for an event in GoToWebinar.
