Learn more in Use abandoned browse.

1. Set up the Dotdigital Tag

  1. In Dotdigital, go to Connect, then select Connect website.

  2. Select NEW CONNECTION.

  3. Enter your website name for this connection.

  4. In the Domains field, enter each domain that you want to track on a new line.
Don’t include https:// or www.. Subdomains of a specified parent domain are automatically tracked, so you don’t need to specify them separately.

  5. Select SAVE.

  6. Under Dotdigital Tag connection settings, copy the Tag ID.

You can configure the remaining Tag settings at a later time if you want to.

2. Enable the Tag in WooCommerce

  1. Go to Dotdigital for WooCommerce > Settings.

  2. Under Tracking, expand the Select region drop-down menu, and choose your Dotdigital region.

  3. For Dotdigital Tag ID, enter the Tag ID value you copied in Step 1.

  4. Optionally, select the Enable ROI tracking checkbox.

ROI tracking is used to power Direct revenue tracking. Syncing orders to Dotdigital allows you to use Advanced revenue attribution, so unless you specifically want to use Direct tracking, you don’t need to enable the ROI tracking functionality.

  5. Select Save Changes.
