The abandoned carts report shows analytics for your abandoned carts. There are two tabs on the abandoned carts report page: Revenue and Totals.
View the abandoned carts report
In Dotdigital, go to Analytics > Reports.
Expand the MORE REPORTS drop‑down menu and select Abandoned carts.
Set the date range
Select the date range control in the top-right and select a start and end date for your report.
The revenue tab
The revenue tab view shows monetary totals for your abandoned cart analytics. The revenue tab displays data in two formats: tiles and chart.
To view, select the Revenue tab at the top of the page.
Understand the tiles
At the top of the revenue tab view, there are three tiles:
Tiles | Description |
Recovery rate | The percentage of carts that were converted into orders. |
Revenue recovered | The total revenue created by converted carts. |
Value of lost carts | The value of carts we no longer consider recoverable. |

There are two chart types: trend and cumulative.
To switch between chart types, select either Trend or Cumulative below the chart.
Trend
The trend chart shows the discrete monetary amounts for each interval of the chart – a month or a day. For example, on a monthly view, the chart shows daily values for recovered and lost carts.
Cumulative
The cumulative view shows increases by successive additions across your chosen time frame.
The totals tab
The totals tab view shows you the totals of your abandoned cart analytics. We show your abandoned cart data on the totals view in two formats: tiles and chart. To view, select the Totals tab at the top of the page.
