Campaign statistics synchronisation level in Microsoft Dynamics

Overview

The connector can sync campaign statistics from Engagement Cloud to Dynamics. By default, if the email campaign is sent directly from Engagement Cloud the basic level of data is synchronised. This covers a high-level overview of how the campaign has performed. 'Basic' includes data such as the total number sent, total opens, and total clicks.

This can be changed if more detailed information is needed, such as the individual actions performed by contacts who received the campaign. This level of data is displayed in the campaign report and from a contact's engagement timeline.

Steps to apply Detailed synchronisation

To apply this setting for a synchronised email campaign:

  1. Go to Marketing > Email Campaigns
  2. Click the name of the Email Campaign
  3. Click Administration
  4. Change the 'Synchronisation Level' to 'Detailed (Basic plus individual tracking)'

To apply this setting for multiple synchronised email campaigns:

  1. Go to Marketing > Email Campaigns > Select the Email Campaigns
  2. Click Edit
  3. In the 'Change multiple records' window, click Administration.
  4. Change the 'Synchronisation Level' to 'Detailed (Basic plus individual tracking)'
  5. Click Change

Want to set ‘Detailed’ for all Campaigns?

A Workflow can be set up to allow the level of syncrhonisatoin to be altered to 'Detailed'. If you're not familiar with Workflows, please reach out to your CRM Administrator.
