Spam check
Once you're happy with your campaign design, you should check your campaign using the Spam check option.
This passes your campaign through a spam filter and assigns a score relating to the number of elements in a campaign which could be viewed as spam.
Our spam check function is provided by a third-party anti-spam platform called SpamAssassin. It performs a list of tests on email messages with which it applies scores and determines if emails are spam or not.
A new window opens to display the results. Select Show minor points to display further detail about those points. This allows you to see how certain text within your campaign has scored and make any necessary edits.
Show stats
Select Stats to display a list of campaign statistics. This provides key information about the content of your campaign, like how many words you've used, how many links, how many images, and the overall height and width of your campaign.
Links
Select the Links option to display a list of links in use in your campaign.
Select the Preview icon in the Links window to automatically scroll the campaign to the selected link and highlight it with a red outline. From the Links window, you can select an external URL to test it, as well as edit links by selecting the Edit icon.
Hidden links
Sometimes you might preview a link which does not seem to appear in the campaign. What might have happened, if you are working from a copied campaign or template, is that a content element has only been partially removed, leaving behind an embedded link in the campaign code. To remove such links, you can select Utilities > Edit source, then use CTRL + F (Cmd + F on Mac) to search the code for the URL, and remove it this way.
Restore
When you save your campaign, or when an autosave is made — which EasyEditor does one minute after any change — a copy is kept for some time after it's been created. These previous campaign versions can be retrieved and loaded back into EasyEditor.
To do this, select Restore to open the Restore a previous version window. Expand the Select a version drop-down menu to view all of the earlier versions that are stored for the campaign. Autosaves are indicated in brackets.
To restore a previous version, select the save time from the drop-down list. A preview of the selected version appears in the window. If you’re happy to restore this version to the editor, select RESTORE.
If your campaign content uses split testing, you can select which split test version you want to restore using the Select split test checkboxes.
Maximum age of previous versions
Previous versions of campaign content are stored for a maximum of 60 days, after which they're deleted.
