Things you need to know:
You must have a triggered campaign or an active program in your account to use join actions.
A join action is only triggered for single contact additions. Join actions are not triggered for bulk contact imports or bulk API calls.

Set up a join action
You can configure two types of join actions for each list in your account:
Campaign join action - automatically sends a welcome email
Program join action - automatically enrols contacts in a program
Go to Audience > Lists.
Either create a new list or select the Properties icon of an existing list. If creating a new list, give it a unique name and enter a description. If it's a public list, your contacts might see its name, so make sure it's understandable to your users.
Configure your join actions:
For Campaign join action: Select SELECT CAMPAIGN and choose a triggered campaign to send to contacts when they join the list.
For Program join action: Select SELECT PROGRAM and choose a program to enrol contacts in when they join the list.
Select SAVE.
Once your join actions are set up, new contacts joining the list through forms, API calls, or manual addition will automatically trigger the configured campaign or program.
Test your join action by adding a test contact to ensure it's working correctly.
