An active program is actively running, enrolling contacts, sending messages, and performing actions according to its rules. You can't edit or delete a program while it's active.
You can still edit campaigns being used in an active program. Once you save your changes to the triggered campaign, the program sends the updated version.
You can disable and resume enrolment for an active program. Active programs can also be viewed, copied, and deactivated.
An active program lets you know that it's active in the information message at the top of the program builder.
View active programs
To view an active program, go to Automation > Programs.
Active programs limit
You can have a maximum of 250 active programs in your account. We warn you when you are nearing your limit.
Once you reach the maximum number of active programs, you must deactivate one or more programs before you can activate any new programs.
If you need an additional active program allowance, speak to your Customer Success representative.
Disable and resume enrolments
You can turn off enrolments for a program without deactivating it. This lets contacts who are already enrolled continue to progress through the program, but it won't enrol any more contacts.
Contact enrolment priority⚠️
If a contact is directly enrolled into a program through Surveys, pages, and forms, a list join action, from another program, or through the API, these direct enrolments take priority over the Disable contact enrolment option and these contacts are still enrolled in the program.
You can also resume enrolments after having disabled them.
Disable program enrolment
Go to Automation > Programs, and select the program you want to disable enrolments for.
Expand the UTILITIES drop-down menu, and select Disable contact enrolment.
This instantly disables enrolments, and the information message changes to confirm this.
Resume program enrolment
Go to Automation > Programs, and select the program you want to resume enrolments for.
Expand the UTILITIES drop-down menu, and select Enable contact enrolment.
