The Link hotspot report shows your campaign with an overlay that highlights how many times the links in your campaign were clicked.

The report is a useful visual reference, allowing you to quickly gauge where the hotspots are in your campaign - plus, it's a good way to evaluate your link placement.

Using the Link hotspot report

To access the report:

  1. Go to Analytics > Reports.

  2. Select the campaign report you want to view the link hotspot for.

  3. Expand the MORE REPORTS drop-down menu in the top right of the email report overview screen.

  4. Select Link hotspot.

The Link hotspot side panel opens and displays your email.

You can view different versions of your Link hotspot report by selecting the tabs at the top of the side panel:

Displays the HTML version of your email campaign. It includes information boxes next to each link. These show how many times the link was clicked, as well as the click-through rate. When you hover over a particular link, another box appears with additional information about how many unique clicks there have been.

  • Heatmap
Displays the HTML version of your email campaign with a heatmap overlay. This quickly shows you all the parts of the campaign that were clicked by your contacts. The colour of the heatmap indicates how many of your contacts clicked a particular area.
