Form: Add a consent block

Use the Consent block to demonstrate consent for privacy regulations, such as the EU’s GDPR and CASL, on your survey, page, or form.

Respondents can check the Consent box to agree to the text you provide. If your page or form is assigned to a contact data field then the consent data is stored as ConsentInsight against the contact. When you export a survey or form that includes a Consent block, the export includes the consent text and whether the respondent agreed to it.


Before you start

Things you need to know:


Add a consent block

  1. Expand the Form block menu, then drag the Consent block onto the EasyEditor canvas.

  2. On the Consent block, double-click Type consent text here and enter your consent text.

  3. If consent is required, select the Consent box to open the left-side settings menu. Then select the Required answer check box and enter your required answer message into the text box.
