Before you start
Things you need to know:
It’s not possible to set up an SMS free trial for sending in the USA and Canada, as you need to have a registered number to send in these regions.

An SMS free trial is only available on certain account packages. Contact your Customer Success representative to discuss.
Set up an SMS free trial
Our SMS free trial comes with ten free SMS sends.
To set up the SMS free trial on your account:
Go to Campaigns > SMS.
Under Let's get you set up with SMS, select I'm just looking. Let’s start with a free trial.
Select START TRIAL.
That’s it! You’re now ready to trial SMS on your account. We create a default alphanumeric SMS from name using the company name listed for your account.
You can send from this from name, but it can’t receive replies. If you want to test inbound SMS, you must purchase an inbound number option.

Upgrade your free trial
Once you’ve reached the end of your SMS trial, you need to upgrade to start using SMS in a real, live environment.
Go to Campaigns > SMS.
Select You're currently on an SMS trial. Upgrade now.
Follow the on screen instructions.

Purchase a number
Go to Campaigns > SMS.
Under Let's get you set up, select I’m ready to go. Let’s do this.
Select PURCHASE NUMBER and follow the instructions.
The instructions differ slightly based on the region you want to send in.
