In webchat, your team profile picture and status help create a clear and personalised experience. Upload a picture so customers know who they're speaking with, and switch your chat status to control when new conversations are assigned to you.
Set your chat status to away to prevent being assigned new chats while away from your computer, such as during coffee breaks or brief absences. Once you return, update your status to available to continue chatting with customers.
Before you start
Things you need to know:
These settings are only relevant for webchat agents. They don’t apply to conversations through SMS or WhatsApp chat.
Add or change your chat profile picture
Expand the User menu, then select Your profile.
For Profile picture, select CHOOSE FILE.
Supported image types: PNG, JPG, and GIF.
Max file size: 5mb.
Min image dimensions: 200px x 200px
Select the picture you want as your profile picture.
Select SAVE at the bottom of the page.
Set your chat status to available or away
Go to Chat.
Switch the Chat status toggle in the top right of the page to Available or Away.
That's it! Your status remains until you change it back.
