After you set up the NetSuite integration to sync data between NetSuite and your Dotdigital account, we advise you to check the integration is syncing data the way you want.

We provide some guidance here, but you must do sufficient testing to ensure you're syncing the correct data to fulfil your requirements.

Before you start

Things need to know:

  • You must have a functioning NetSuite integration.

  • Access to your Dotdigital account.

  • Access to your NetSuite instance.

Product data: recommended checks

To check the product data syncing from NetSuite to Dotdigital:

  1. Go to Content > Products, then select the Catalogs tab.

  2. Find your NetSuite synced catalog, then select Properties.

  3. For Unique product identifier, unless you are certain the product name in the orders matches the product name in the catalog, expand the Unique product identifier drop-down menu and select SKU.

This makes sure sales can be matched to the items in the catalog.

  4. For Prices include tax, select YES or NO.

  1. Go to Audience > Contacts.

    • Contacts

    • Customers

    • Leads

    • Prospects

  3. Check the number of contacts to make sure they are as you expect – if they are not correct your opt in settings might be incorrect.
