Filter contacts in email reports

Overview

If you want to see data for specific contacts in an email report, select Filter: Showing all in the top-right corner of the page. This filter gives you the following four options:

  • Filter by address book
  • Filter by segment
  • Filter by split test variation
  • Filter by dynamic content variation

Please note

If you apply a filter to the Email report overview, the following reports and metrics won't be available:

  • Delivery report
  • ISP complaints
  • Unsubscribes

As well as these reports, you can't apply a filter to the following additional reports:

  • Soft bounces
  • Hard bounces
  • Emails skipped
  • Google Analytics

Filtering contacts by address book

This option allows you to filter for contacts who are in a specific address book. From the 'Select address book' dropdown, select an address book, and then select Apply.

Note: This option filters contacts by the address books that they're currently in, not the address books they were in at the time that the campaign was sent.

Filtering contacts by segment

This option allows you to filter by segments. From the 'Select segment' dropdown, select a segment, and then select Apply.

Filtering contacts by split test variation

You'll only have access to these options if your campaign contains dynamic content and/or is a split test.

From the 'Select split test' dropdown, select a split test, and then select Apply.

Filtering contacts by dynamic content variation

You'll only have access to this option if your campaign contains dynamic content and/or is a split test.

From the 'Select dynamic content' dropdown, select a dynamic content block and its variation, and then select Apply

Removing a filter

To remove a filter, select on the red cross next to the filter.
