Modifying a saved template

You can save templates into your template library, allowing you to modify them again and again when creating new campaigns. This means you don't have to keep starting from scratch, or keep seeking out a specific design from within our free templates selection.

Your preferred templates can be saved and will then be ready for you to modify with ease.

Modifying a saved template

To modify a template:

  1. Go to Campaigns > My templates (this will be empty until you save your own templates into this area)

  2. Mouse over the template thumbnail you're after and click Edit to modify it (you can either search on the template title or use the scrollbar find your template if you have lots)
  3. The selected template will open in EasyEditor. Make your changes and, when ready, click Save & continue.

  4. You can next edit the plain text version of the template. When done, click Finish.

The edited template will appear refreshed on your 'My templates' page, with an updated modification date beneath it.

Can you confirm how we can edit the Subject line of a template?

Thanks for your question. To edit the subject line of a template, simply select the template from 'Campaigns' > 'My templates', name the template when prompted, click 'Continue', and you'll then be taken through to the 'Provide a few campaign setup details' screen, where you can then edit the subject line.

Hope this helps, but let me know if I've not fully understood what you're looking to do.

    Doesn't seem to work anymore.

The 'Campaigns' > 'My templates' path leads to the Templates library, were you can select from your saved Templates and Edit them (only the EasyEditor content is editable, other Campaign details seem unavailable).

At no point did I see a prompt asking me to name the template.

Are these features now only available when you're creating a new Campaign from an existing Template?

I’m really sorry Chris. What I’ve actually provided the steps for is creating a new campaign with a template and then setting the subject line when setting the campaign up, which I appreciate isn’t quite what you're after.

Yes, templates are design only and don’t include editable elements such as subject lines.
