Upgrade your Dotdigital for Salesforce package

Install updates for Dotdigital for Salesforce.

When a newer version of the Dotdigital for Salesforce package is detected, the Configuration tab displays a notification. You can start the upgrade process from here.

Before you start

Things you need to know:

  • Upgrades can only be performed by a Salesforce system administrator.


Upgrade the package

To upgrade your Dotdigital for Salesforce package:

  1. In Salesforce, go to Configuration.

  2. Select the download link in the upgrade notification banner.

    This displays your installed version and the available update version, as well as displaying links to related documentation.

  3. Select the relevant installation type for your Salesforce instance:

    1. Production/Full

    2. Sandbox/Demo

  4. You're prompted to log in, after which the details for the package upgrade are displayed. Check and verify the information, then select Upgrade.

    You'll receive a notification once the upgrade is complete.
