Learn more in How to log in using SSO.
Log in with email address and password
Go to the Dotdigital login page.
Enter the email address associated with your user account, and the related password.
Select LOG IN.
Access to multiple accounts
If you have access to multiple Dotdigital accounts through the same user email address, then when you log in, you are given the option to choose which account you want to log in to. You can also set a default account, so it’s quicker to log in to the account you access most often.
Go to the Dotdigital login page.
Enter the email address associated with your user account, and the related password.
Expand the Choose account drop-down menu and select the account you want to log in to.
Accounts are listed with the associated company name first, then the account owner email address in brackets. You can use the search field to locate an account by either the company name or account owner email.
Optionally, you can select the Set as default account checkbox to have the selected account pre-populated in the drop-down menu next time you log in with these user credentials.
Select CONTINUE.
Switch account
Once logged in, you have the ability to switch to another account that your user profile has access to. How you do this depends on the level of account you’re currently logged in to.
If you’re logged in to a top-level (parent) account
You can either:
Expand the User menu and select Switch account, expand the Account drop-down menu and select the account you want, then select SWITCH.
You can use the search field to locate an account by either the company name or account owner email.
If you have the Can manage account permission enabled, you can access other accounts in your team through the Users and teams area of the platform.
Learn more in the section Log in to another account in your team.
If you’re logged in to a secondary-level (child) account
Expand the User menu and select Switch account, expand the Account drop-down menu and select the account you want, then select SWITCH.
You can use the search field to locate an account by either the company name or account owner email.
Login verification
If the account you’re logging in to doesn’t have either Single sign-on or two-factor authentication enabled, when you log in you may have to verify that you are the user who you are trying to log in as.
To do this, you need to click the link in the verification email we send to the user's registered email address. The link in the email is valid for one hour from the log in attempt.
After you click this link, information about the device and the browser you're using is saved in a cookie, and a new window opens to allow you to log in.
We send a verification email in the following circumstances:
If you haven't logged in at all in the last 30 days.
If you're logging in from a different device.
If you're logging in from a different browser.
Login verification issues
If you didn't open the verification link in the same browser as you originally tried to log in with, you won't be able to gain access in the original browser, as the cookie has not been placed there.
If you have access to two or more accounts, select the verification link in one account before trying to log into a second account.
Troubleshoot login verification
If you don't receive the login verification email, speak with your IT team to ensure that the IP addresses that the email can be sent from are whitelisted.
If, when you select the link in the verification email, it opens in a different browser to the one you're using to log in to Dotdigital, either:
Copy and paste the link from the email into the browser containing the log in screen.
Update your default browser settings to ensure that links always open in the browser you most often use - the steps to do this vary based on your device or operating system.
Check your browser settings and make sure that the browser isn't set to delete your cookies at the end of each session.
For example, in the latest version of the Google Chrome browser, you can check these settings by doing the following:Select the Chrome menu in the toolbar.
Select Settings > Advanced.
Select Content Settings > Cookies in the Privacy and Security section.
Check all your cookie settings, and make sure that the Keep local data only until you quit your browser option isn't switched on.
If you have the Dotdigital login page saved as a bookmark, check to make sure that it doesn't end with
/U/
. If it does, edit the bookmarked URL to remove this string of characters, otherwise you are always redirected back to the Verify your login page when you try to access.
