Your WhatsApp display name is how your business appears to customers when they receive messages from you. To change it, you need to update the name in WhatsApp Manager and then re-register your number in Dotdigital.
Before you start
Things you need to know:
You must have access to both WhatsApp Manager and your Dotdigital account.
Display name changes require Meta approval, which can take up to 24 hours.
Your new display name must comply with Meta's display name guidelines.

1. Change your display name in WhatsApp Manager
In WhatsApp Manager, go to Account tools > Phone numbers > Profile.
Select Edit under Display name.
Enter your new display name.
Select Save.
Meta reviews your new display name and sends you a notification when it's approved.
2. Re-register your number in Dotdigital
When Meta approves your new display name, you must re-register your phone number in Dotdigital to update how your business appears to customers.
In Dotdigital, go to Settings > WhatsApp > Manage connection.
Select RE-REGISTER.
Your new display name now appears to customers when you send WhatsApp messages.
Troubleshooting
The previous display name still shows to customers
If customers continue to see your old display name after making changes, re-register your phone number in Dotdigital.
Display name rejected by Meta
If Meta rejects your display name, review their display name guidelines and update your name accordingly. Once Meta approves the new name, re-register your phone number in Dotdigital.
