You can see the status of your campaigns and control what happens to them before they send from the outbox. You can pause and resume sends, reschedule sends for another time, or cancel sends altogether.
Once all the sends for a campaign are processed, the campaign moves from the outbox to the Sent section.
Before you start
Things you need to know:
If you're only sending a campaign to a small number of contacts immediately, you’re unlikely to see your campaign in the outbox as it will be processed too quickly.
The numbers given for emails already sent and emails remaining in the Pause or resume and Cancel windows are estimates. It is not possible to identify which contacts were sent the campaign before it was cancelled.
Emails already sent cannot be recalled and are chargeable.
Paused campaigns are cancelled if they aren't resumed within seven days of the expected send date.
Cancelled sends which have partially processed move to Sent campaigns.
Partial reporting may be available for a cancelled send, but the Emails sent figure shows the total number of contacts originally selected for the send, even if the send did not complete.
Pause a campaign send
To pause a campaign send:
Go to Campaigns > Email, then select the Outbox tab.
Find the campaign you want to pause, and select the Pause/resume button.
On the confirmation window, select PAUSE CAMPAIGN.
On the confirmation dialogue box, select OK. If you change your mind and don’t want to pause your campaign send, select Cancel on the dialog box and CLOSE or the X button to close the Pause or resume window.
Resume a campaign send
To resume a campaign send:
Go to Campaigns > Email, then select the Outbox tab.
Find the paused campaign you want to resume, and select the Pause/resume button.
On the confirmation window, select RESUME CAMPAIGN.
On the confirmation dialog box, select OK. If you change your mind and don’t want to resume your campaign send, select Cancel on the dialog box and CLOSE or the X button to close the Pause or resume window.
Reschedule a campaign send
You can change the time or date of a campaign that you have previously scheduled from the outbox.
To reschedule a campaign send:
Go to Campaigns > Email, then select the Outbox tab.
Find the scheduled campaign you want to reschedule, and select the Reschedule button.
On the confirmation window, use the date picker and time picker to choose a new date and new time for your campaign send.
Select CHANGE SEND TIME.
If you change your mind and don’t want to reschedule your campaign send, select CLOSE or the X button to close the Reschedule campaign window.
Cancel a campaign send
To cancel a campaign and stop it processing any further sends:
Go to Campaigns > Email, then select the Outbox tab.
Find the campaign you want to stop, and select the Cancel send button.
On the confirmation window, select CANCEL SEND.
If you change your mind and don’t want to cancel your campaign send, select CLOSE or the X button to close the Reschedule campaign window.
