Export templates and campaigns from your account
Export templates and campaigns from your account

If you need to export your email templates and campaign content you can do this by copying the source code out of each template or campaign.

Before you start

Things you need to know before you start:

  • You can't export dynamic content blocks.


Export templates

  1. Go to Content > Templates > Custom email templates.

  2. Hover over the template you want to export and select the Edit icon.

  3. In EasyEditor, expand the Utilities drop-down menu and select Edit source.

  4. Select and copy all of the HTML source code.

  5. Open a plain-text editor, for example, Notepad.

  6. Paste the HTML onto a clean file.

  7. Save the file to your local computer in the file type you want.

Export campaigns

Unsent campaigns

  1. Go to Campaigns > Email.

  2. Select the Unsent tab, find a campaign you'd like to export and select Edit.

  3. In EasyEditor, expand the Utilities drop-down menu and select Edit source.

  4. Select and copy all of the HTML source code.

  5. Open a plain-text editor, for example, Notepad.

  6. Paste the HTML onto a clean file.

  7. Save the file to your computer as your preferred file type.

Sent campaigns

If you want to export the HTML from a sent campaign:

  1. Go to Campaigns > Email.

  2. Select the Sent tab.

  3. Find the campaign you want to export and select the check box to the left of the campaign name.

  4. Expand the More actions drop-down menu, and select either:

    • Copy campaign
      To create an editable copy of the campaign in Unsent.

    • Copy to library
      To create an editable copy of the campaign as a template in Custom templates.

  5. If you selected Copy campaign in step 4, follow the steps in Unsent campaigns.

  6. If you selected Copy to library in step 4, follow the steps in Export templates.
