Add your Chat widget to a page or form

Copy and paste the auto-generated code to your page's tracking code input box to make the webchat widget show on your website.

1. Copy the widget code

  1. Expand the User menu then go to Settings > Chat > Widget.

  2. Select VIEW CODE.

  3. Copy the widget code to your clipboard.


2. Add the code to your page

  1. Go to Content > Surveys, pages, and forms and create or edit a page.

  2. In EasyEditor, expand the UTILITIES drop-down menu and select Add tracking code.

  3. Select ADD TRACKING CODE and then select Other.

  4. Paste the widget code into the Other tracking code box.

  5. For Tracking code position, select In the <head>.

  6. Select APPLY.


3. Publish your page

Go to step 3.1 if you are publishing for the first time, or 3.2 if you are republishing a page.

  1. Publishing for the first time:

    1. Select PUBLISH.

    2. Select CREATE A LINK.

    3. If required, expand the Publish on drop-down menu and select the domain you want to publish the page on.

    4. For Friendly part, enter the text for the final section of the page URL. For example, if you enter Chat with us, your URL looks something like https://example.com/p/chat-with-us.

    5. Select APPLY.

  2. Republishing a page:

    1. Select PUBLISHED PAGE.

    2. Select REPUBLISH.

    3. Read the information, then select SAVE & REPUBLISH.

That's it! Visit your page to see chat in action.
