Overview
The 'Email client breakdown' report initially provides percentages for the top five email clients a campaign was delivered to on the campaign's reporting overview page. This enables you to identify your most popular email clients among your contact base.
Further to this, a full breakdown for the entire send is provided, which is accessed by clicking on View full report.
Using the Email client breakdown report
The full report allows you to drill down on individual clients to see what versions of the email client your contacts are using.
Do this by clicking on the bar for the email client in the horizontal bar chart underneath the pie chart.
Information
A note on Google Cache: On your report, it's likely that you'll see a percentage for 'Chrome' and for 'Google Cache', and you may well be wondering what the difference is. 'Google Cache' refers to when the client uses Google software (for example, the Gmail app on Android or iOS, and in most cases, the Gmail web application) to view the email. Google then intercepts all image requests and routes them via its cache.
'Chrome' is when the customer is opening the email in the Google Chrome browser, and isn't associated (necessarily) with a Gmail address (e.g. when viewing your BT email in Chrome).
To view the drill down detail on other reports, use the More reports... button located next to the title of the report. This will provide a menu from which you can select the report type as shown below.
You can also filter the results displayed here by using our filter report function. The Filter button is located at the top right of the report (across from the More reports... button).
