You can use the borders and padding tools to create border lines separating pieces of content, and manage the spacing between different elements.

To do this:

  1. In EasyEditor, select the block you want to apply the style to.

  2. Select Styles from the left-side panel.

  3. Select the Borders & padding section of the accordion

Add borders

The borders tool has four controls:

  • Style - to select whether the line is solid, dashed, or dotted.

  • Weight - to set the thickness of the line.

  • Colour - to set the colour of the line.

  • Location - to select which edge of the block the border should be applied to; you can select the line icon that corresponds to the edge of the block where you want to place the line. Select the same icon again to remove the line.

If you want to, you can add different styles, weights and colours of line to each side.

Add padding

Padding is the space between the edge of the block and its contents.

  • Use the Size drop-down menu to select how many pixels the padding should be.

  • Select which side of the square block you want to apply the padding to, or select the corresponding arrow icon. Select the same side or icon again to remove the padding.

If you want to, you can have different sizes of padding on different edges of your block.
