Overview
Bundled products are customizable, build-your-own products in your ecommerce store. If you sell bundled products, you can add these to your product recommendations in the same way as simple products.
Understanding bundled products
The product recommendation engine uses treats bundled products in the same way as simple products. However, you can only filter your recommendations by the top-level product and not individual items within a product bundle.
This is also the same when using our machine-learning-powered product recommendations — they only use data from the bundle, not the items in the bundle.
Magento requirements
You must use version 4.5.4 or higher of the Magento to Dotdigital connector to use bundles in your product recommendations.
