WinstonAI is an artificial intelligence tool powered by Microsoft Azure’s OpenAI service and ChatGPT, and it might produce incorrect responses. It is crucial to examine any suggestions provided by the WinstonAI feedback assistant thoroughly before making changes to your email campaign.
WinstonAI runs against a model in Azure that's specific to Dotdigital. The model discards all information after providing feedback on your campaign.
Based on a fair usage policy, we ask you to use WinstonAI responsibly. Maximum 200 requests per account every 24 hours.
Minimum words and character counts:
WinstonAI Subject line assistant – Minimum: 9 characters.
WinstonAI Campaign assistant – Minimum: 30 words.
The WinstonAI rewrite tool is available in text-based blocks in EasyEditor for email campaigns and Surveys, pages, and forms.
Subject line assistant
You can use the WinstonAI Subject line assistant for various use cases, such as improving your open rates, communicating more effectively, and enhancing the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns by using attention-grabbing subject lines.
Subject line options
By analysing the content of your subject line, WinstonAI can give you several types of feedback and suggestions:

To get WinstonAI's assistance for your email subject lines:
Create or edit an HTML email campaign as normal.

On the Create page of the email creation flow, enter a subject line and then select the WinstonAI icon.
Choose one of the subject line options:
Feedback
WinstonAI scans your subject line and provides feedback and a suggestion.
Select USE to replace your original subject line, or select COPY to copy WinstonAI’s suggestion to your clipboard.
Check grammar
WinstonAI scans your subject line and provides grammar feedback and a suggestion.
Select USE to replace your original subject line, or select COPY to copy WinstonAI’s suggestion to your clipboard.
Change tone
Select one or two of the style choices and wait for WinstonAI to create a suggestion.
Select USE to replace your original subject line, or select COPY to copy WinstonAI’s suggestion to your clipboard.
Change length
Choose either SHORTEN or EXPAND, WinstonAI creates a new suggestion of your subject line that is a different length.
Select USE to replace your original subject line, or select COPY to copy WinstonAI’s suggestion to your clipboard.
Rephrase text
Choose one the rephrase styles and wait for WinstonAI to create a suggestion.
Select the suggestion use it.
Add emojis
WinstonAI creates a new suggestion of your subject line with emojis added in.

Tone evaluation
Considers your email's overall tone and determines whether it's positive, negative, or something else. Use this to ensure your message aligns with your brand voice and resonates with your audience.

On the EasyEditor toolbar, select the WinstonAI icon.
WinstonAI reviews your campaign and, in a few seconds, produces five suggestions for improving and optimising your campaign content.
Review WinstonAI’s feedback, but only make changes you are sure about.

The WinstonAI rewrite assistant is a tool for content creators. With the help of WinstonAI, you can create captivating content, manage your time more effectively, overcome writer's block, avoid digital uniformity, find inspiration, and effectively convey your message in a tone that matches your company's style.
The WinstonAI rewrite assistant enables you to select from five rewriting options:
Check grammar
Fix any grammar, punctuation, and spelling errors in your copy. Additionally, you receive constructive feedback to enhance your writing further.Change tone
Change the tone of your copy. Choose up to two tones to apply.Change length
Change the length of your copy. Choose to expand or shorten your copy.
Rephrase text
Choose to rewrite your copy in a specific way.Summarise: make your text shorter and more concise.
Reword: retain the meaning of your text but provide an alternative wording.
Improve readability: Improve clarity and structure.
Simplify: break down complex ideas or language into simpler terms and concepts.
Add emojis
Brighten up your text with relevant emojis.
Use the WinstonAI rewrite assistant
To use the WinstonAI rewrite assistant:
In your Email campaign, find the text box you want to rewrite.
Select the WinstonAI icon on the text box, then select the rewrite option you want to use.
If asked, choose a maximum of two options for your rewrite.
For example, a tone type.Hover over the rewrite you want to use, then select COPY in the bottom right. This copies Winston’s rewrite to your clipboard so you can paste it back into your text box.
Supported languages
WinstonAI can check grammar and provide suggestions for any language. However, all feedback and instructions are given in the language associated with your account.
