Most viewed is a non-personalised recommendation. You can use the recommendation builder to filter its product list and create more specific recommendations, such as:
Most viewed female running shoes.

This recommendation can generate a total of 10 results.
Create a Most viewed recommendation
Go to Content > Products > Recommendations.
Select CREATE RECOMMENDATION.
Hover over the Most viewed block, and select SELECT.
Dependencies
To use the most viewed recommendation, you review the Insight data dependencies.
You must also ensure the following:
You are using Dotdigital’s Web behavior tracking and have valid Insight data.
Products have a price greater than zero.
Data used for building a recommendation
Most viewed recommendations are built from your entire Insight data collection, however, the builder applies a weighting curve to ensure that recommendations remain relevant over time.
