Once you're happy with the finished look of your page, the next step is to go live with it. This couldn't be simpler and it's achievable in just a few clicks.
You can either:
- Publish on our hosting domain
- Publish on a custom domain that you've purchased through us
You provide your own 'friendly' part to the URL, and the URL can be previewed as you create it.
You can publish, unpublish and republish pages at will (making post-publication edits easy), plus there are handy options to copy the page link, as well as share it on Twitter.
To publish a page, click on Publish, which is positioned at the top of the page when editing.
The side panel will slide in from the right with two actions to complete - 'Create a link' and 'Publish'.
Click on Create a link. A secondary side panel will slide in.
This is where you create your published link by deciding upon its two parts:
Decide upon the domain to publish on. The default one will be our hosting domain. Alternatively, if you have a purchased domain or domains, you can select one by clicking on the 'Publish on' dropdown.
As you make these choices, note how the preview of the URL updates for you, so you know what it will look like.
Change the friendly part anytime
You can change the friendly part at any time without breaking any links you've already shared. Visitors to the old URL will be redirected to the version that contains your new friendly part.
Once you're happy, click Apply.
You'll return to the initial side panel, and the makeup of your page's address is confirmed to you.
If you want to make a change, just click on this confirmation message to return to the 'Link' panel.
Otherwise, if you're happy with everything, it's time to click Publish.
Clicking Publish will take you through to a final confirmation panel, asking you whether you're sure you want to publish the page.
Clicking Publish on this panel will put the page online, and all links to it will start working.
You'll be returned to the initial side panel, which will confirm the date and time of the launch of the page, as well as providing some other very useful options.
Firstly, as you'll have been in EasyEditor, click on Published page - this page is currently live positioned at the top of EasyEditor.
The side panel will slide in again from the right. Click Republish, then click Republish again on the final confirmation panel. The republished date and time will be confirmed for you on the initial side panel, and your changes will be live.
You can follow this same process for a page that was previously published but has since been unpublished.
RememberFor changes to a live page to take effect, you'll need to save it and then republish it. Just saving won't push the changes live.
Click on this to unpublish a live page. A final confirmation panel will slide in; click Unpublish again. This will take the page offline and all links to it will stop working (a 404 page will display instead).
To share your survey as a pop-over on your site, click the Generate pop-over code button.
You will then be provided with the code to use to create the pop-over.
You have four options that can be configured:
- Show the pop-over immediately or add a delay in seconds
- Stop displaying the pop-over when the survey or form is completed, or after a specified number of appearances (the default is set to three)
- Additionally, you can set the pop-over to display on mobile devices if you wish - but this isn't recommended as it can harm your search engine rankings.
- You can also select Enable use of 'Esc' keypress to close pop-over.
The pop-over code will immediately update below when configuring these options.
- If the survey or form is completed, the pop-over will stop displaying for 365 days
- Once the pop-over appearances limit is reached, the pop-over will stop displaying for 7 days
When happy, highlight the pop-over code in the Pop-over code area and paste it into your HTML just before the closing body tag of the page you want to display it on. The survey will appear as a pop-over, and all the responses will be available in the reporting as normal.

Click on this to quickly share your live page's link on Twitter. A dialog window will open in Twitter with your link already in the tweet. Add anything else you need to and then click Tweet.
A note on sharing
Don't worry about contacts sharing pages. Any personalised information will not be not shared as the page will switch to a non-personalised URL.
