Program reports

Learn to keep track of and understand how your programs are performing using program reports.

Overview

The program reports page reveals up-to-date information about the performance of your programs. You can choose to see your program reports in two helpful view types: Table view and Chart view.

Here’s what they are and how they can help you:

Table view

Gives you a detailed overview of the performance of your programs.

View the program reports

To view the program reports, go to Analytics > Channel analytics > Reports: Program.

Switch between the table and chart view

To switch between the table view and chart view, select the Table and Chart tabs at the top of the Program reports.

Set the date range

There are two options for setting a date range for your program reports: choose a pre-defined date range or set a custom date range.

To set your date range:

  1. On Program reports, select Date range from the top-right of the page.
  2. From the side panel, choose either Pre-defined date range or Custom date range.
  3. Depending on your choice in step 2, go to step 3A for pre-defined date range or step 3B for custom date range.
    • 3A. For pre-defined date range, expand the date range drop-down menu, and then choose the time frame you want to see data within.
      The options for pre-defined date range are:
      • Today
      • Yesterday
      • This week
      • Last week
      • This month
      • Last month
      • This year
      • Last year
      • All time
      By default,This week is selected.
    • 3B. For custom date-range, select the date picker to choose your Start date and End date.
  4. Select Apply.

Search for a program

If you have a long list of programs, you might struggle to find the one you’re looking for. To search for a program, enter the program name into the search box at the top of the table.

 

Using table view

The table view of the program reports lets you dig deeper into the stats of your programs and really understand how they are performing.

What table view shows you

The table view of the program reports page shows you information on the following categories:

  • Added to address book
    Number of contacts added to an address book as a result of your program.
  • Removed from address book
    Number of contacts removed from an address book as a result of your program.
  • Reached end nodes
    Number of contacts that reached the end nodes and completed your program.
  • Reached exit condition
    Number of contacts that met the exit condition of your program.
  • Removed manually
    Number of contacts that were manually removed from your program.
  • Unsubscribed
    Number of contacts that unsubscribed while enrolled on your program.
  • Added to program
    Number of contacts added to another program using the Addcontact node.
  • Deleted from account
    Number of contacts deleted from your account as a result of your program.
  • Entered program
    Number of contacts enrolled into your program.
  • Updated
    Number of contacts that had data fields updated as a result of your program.
  • Date modified
    The date the program was last modified.
  • Extension executed
    The number of contacts that reached an extension node in your program.
  • Program id
    The identification number of your program.
  • Last run date
    The date your program last ran.
  • Last modified by
    The user who last modified your program.
  • Campaign sent
    The number of campaigns sent by your program.
  • SMS sent
    The number of SMS messages sent by your program.
  • Program name
    The name of your program.
  • Campaign opens
    The sum of all opens of all campaigns you use in the program.
  • Campaign clicks
    The sum of all unique clicks of all campaigns you use in the program.
  • Revenue
    The total revenue generated within the chosen date range.

Find the table view

To see your program reports table view, go to Analytics > Channel analytics > Reports: Program. Table view is the default view.

Change the information you see

The program reports display settings let you sort the table and choose what information you want to see.

To use the table display settings:

  1. On Program reports, select Display at the top-right of the table.
  2. Under the heading Sort by, expand the drop-down menu and choose a sort order.
    The sorting options are:
    • Last run data
    • Program ID
    • Program name
    • Entered program
    • Campaign send
    • Added to address book
    • Updated
    • Added to program
    • Reached end nodes
    • Reached exit conditions
    All options are available as either ascending or descending view.
  3. Under the heading Visible columns, clear the check box of any data items you don’t want to see. To see all, select Select all.
    The data options are:
    • Added to address book
    • Removed from address book
    • Reached end nodes
    • Reached exit condition
    • Removed manually
    • Unsubscribed
    • Added to program
    • Deleted from account
    • Entered program
    • Updated
    • Date modified
    • Extension executed
    • Program id
    • Last run date
    • Last modified by
    • Campaign sent
    • SMS sent
    • Program name
    • Campaign opens
    • Campaign clicks
    • ROI hits
  4. Select Apply.

Change the sort order

You can change the sort order of the program reports table for any of the information columns.
Sortable table titles appear in blue and look like links. To change the sort order, select the title you want to sort by. An arrow displays next to the title to show whether you are sorting by descending () or ascending ().

You can also change the table sort order using the table display settings.

Export the program report

To export a CSV file of your program reports:

  1. Go to Analytics > Channel analytics > Reports: Program.
  2. Select your Date range using the date picker.
  3. Expand the Export drop-down menu and select Export all.

  4. On the Exports page, select Download to download your exported CSV file.

Using chart view

The chart view of the program reports shows you a visual representation of specific metrics associated with your programs. You can use this chart to spot trends in your data effectively.

The chart view of the program reports page shows you charts representing the following metrics:

  • Added to address book
    Number of contacts added to an address book as a result of your program.
  • Removed from address book
    Number of contacts removed from an address book as a result of your program.
  • Reached end nodes
    Number of contacts that reached the end nodes and completed your program.
  • Reached exit condition
    Number of contacts that met the exit condition of your program.
  • Removed manually
    Number of contacts that were manually removed from your program.
  • Unsubscribed
    Number of contacts that unsubscribed while enrolled on your program.
  • Added to program
    Number of contacts added to another program using the Addcontact node.
  • Deleted from account
    Number of contacts deleted from your account as a result of your program.
  • Entered program
    Number of contacts enrolled into your program.

Understanding the charts

Use the charts to view trends relating to your program reports data.

Each chart in the program reports chart view has three data reference points:

  • The start
    The very first point of the chart.
  • Highest point
    Indicated by a green dot on the chart.
  • Lowest point
    Indicated by a red dot on the chart.

Using the chart

Place your cursor on any of these points to see precise data of these points.

Change the information you see

The program reports chart view display settings let you sort the table and choose what information you want to see.

To use the chart display settings:

  1. On the Program reports chart view, select Display at the top-right of the table.
  2. Under the heading Sort by, expand the drop-down menu and choose a sort order.
    The sorting options are Last run date, Program ID, Program name. All options are available as either ascending or descending view.
  3. Under the heading Visible columns, clear the check box of any data items you don’t want to see. To see all, select Select all.
    The data options are:
    • Last modified by
    • Last run date
    • Program ID
    • Program name
    • Trend
      The trend line is selected by default and can’t be removed.
  4. Select Apply.

Change the sort order

You can change the sort order of the program reports table for any of the information columns.
