Edit a contact's data fields

Learn how to edit a contact's data fields.

Overview

Your contacts' data is one of your most important assets, so you want to be able to keep it up-to-date and accurate. If you need to update or edit an individual contact's data fields, you can do this in the Single customer view.

Edit a contact's data fields

To edit a contact's data fields:

  1. Go to Email > Contacts > All contacts, select the All contacts address book.
  2. Find and select the contact you want to edit.
    You can use the Search field to locate the contact.
  3. There are two sets of data you can edit for a contact through the Single customer view. Select the relevant tab:
    1. Contact details: Displays First name, Last name, Full name, Gender, Postcode and Email Type. You can also add notes to the contact record here.

    2. Data fields: Any custom data fields you have created.

  4. Find and edit the data field you want to change.
  5. Select the checkmark.
