Default social links
The social links you choose are saved and used as the default selection when you next use this block.
Create custom social icons
The social links block doesn’t let you customise the social icons. If you want to use your own icons instead of the ones provided, you can add customised social links manually.
When designing your own social icons:
Use square or circular icons with equal dimensions to ensure uniform display.
Resize icons within EasyEditor to align them neatly in columns.
Maintain consistent aspect ratios and sizing across all icons for a polished look.
To create your own social links:
Drag a multi-column block onto the EasyEditor canvas.
Add your custom social icons into each column. To do this import them as images and insert them in the block.
Add links to each image to direct users to your social platform.
Advanced customisation with custom blocks
If you want to build more advanced or reusable layouts, use custom blocks to manage your social links.
Benefits of using custom blocks:
You can create multiple custom blocks for different sets of social icons, for example, one for messaging apps, another for social media.
Each block maintains its own configuration, making it easier to edit and reuse across campaigns.
Custom blocks are fully compatible with email templates, allowing for consistent branding and faster campaign creation.
Troubleshoot custom social link layouts
If your custom social links or icons don’t appear as expected:
Review your custom block configuration to ensure proper setup.
Check the dimensions and aspect ratios of your icons.
Use the EasyEditor preview to test layout and alignment before sending.
