Campaign reports

Learn how to view the reporting for a single campaign.

Overview

The Campaign report page shows you informative, real-time data about a particular campaign.

View a Campaign report

To view a campaign report, go to Email >Reporting > Campaign reports, and select the campaign you want to view the report for.

Headline tiles

At the top of the campaign report, there are four headline tiles.

The headline tiles show the most relevant information in your report to give you an instant overview of your campaign's performance. If more information is available for a headline, a link to the full report appears when you hover over it.

The headline tiles show:

  • Most common email address domain
  • Most common email client
  • Click-to-open rate* and a comparison to previous campaigns
  • Revenue
    The total revenue generated within the chosen date range.

Click-to-open rate explained*

The click-to-open rate (CTOR) indicates the effectiveness of your content by showing you the percentage of recipients who are interacting with your content after opening it.

It's the total number of unique clicks divided by the total number of unique opens, given as a percentage. For example, imagine you sent your campaign to 100 contacts. Ten recipients opened it, and five of the ten recipients clicked links. Therefore, your CTOR for that campaign is 5/10 x 100 = 50%.

Active campaigns

If contacts are still engaging and interacting with your campaign, we let you know by displaying a banner under the headline tiles.

We remove this message when the campaign becomes inactive -- that's when no new opens or clicks have occurred for two days. If we detect any future activity, we display the message again, and the two-day inactivity limit restarts.

Campaign details

Under the heading Campaign details you can see general information about your campaign. Quickly check details such as the subject line, the address books you sent your campaign to, and the last date you sent your campaign.

  • ReMails
    If your campaign is a ReMail, the address books in the Sent to field will be preceded by Non-openers re-mailed for campaign.
  • Deleted address books
    If you sent your campaign to an address book that has since been deleted, that address book in the Send to field will have a line through it and not be clickable.
  • Dynamic content
    You will see an orange bolt if your campaign includes dynamic content. Hover over this bolt to see the content of the dynamic content.

Delivery report

Under the heading Delivery report you can see statistics about the people receiving your campaign. The Delivered metric refers to the number of inboxes that a campaign reached.

To find out why we couldn't deliver a campaign, select Soft bounced, Hard bounced, or Skipped to view the full report for that metric.

Engagement

The Engagement section includes information about who is looking at your campaign.

Opens map

The heatmap in the Opens map section shows you the areas of the world where your email campaign was last opened.

Interaction

Under the header Interaction, you can see how contacts interact with your campaign.

Top links and clicks

The Top links section shows more information about the most popular links in your campaign. The Clicks metric includes the number of links clicked more than once by the same recipient.

Information about mailto links, for example, mailto:recipient@example.com, does not appear in any click reports.

Split tests

If your campaign was a split test, the Split test results section includes details about the winning split test and the losing split test.

ReMail

If your campaign was set up as a ReMail and your ReMail hasn't yet been sent, you can change the time and date on which it will be sent to your contacts who have not yet opened it.

To change the ReMail date:

  1. Select the calendar icon.
  2. Choose a new date.
  3. Select the checkmark.

To change the ReMail time:

  1. Select Send on.
  2. Edit the time.
  3. Select the checkmark.
The ReMail time must be in the following format: hh:mm. For example, one o'clock in the afternoon is 13:00.

After the ReMail has been sent, click the ReMail report button to view the report.

Other report actions

  • Make sure that you and your colleagues never miss a report by setting your campaign reports to be automatically sent to up to 25 email address
  • Print the report so that you can make notes on it offline by going to the 'Report actions' dropdown in the top-right of the page and clicking Print report
  • Filter the report so that the statistics are more focused
  • Compare the reports of different campaigns
