Chat for Magento: Empty address books

Learn how to empty address books. 

Overview

You can empty address books of their contacts.

Performing this action means:

• The chosen address books remain intact but are emptied of all contacts, ready to be refilled
• Removed contacts remain in your All contacts address book (which is your master address book)

Before you start

Things you need to know:

• • This article is for Chat for Magento, which is no longer available to new users. If you're a Chat user, check out the articles in Email contacts and Email address books.

Empty address books

To empty address books:

1. Go to Contacts.
2. Use the check boxes to the left of each address book to select ones you want to empty.
3. Expand the More actions drop-down menu and select Empty selected address books.
4. Select Empty to confirm.
5. Select Okay.
